The Aero/Astro Library is now closed.
On Friday, 26 June 2009, the Aeronautics and Astronautics Library (Aero/Astro) officially closed its doors and its collections will be relocated to other areas within the MIT Libraries.
Where did everything go?
- Bound journals have been moved to the Library Storage Annex. You can request either whole volumes or PDFs of articles from these journals through Barton (after finding the title you want, click on "All Items" and then the appropriate request buttons).
- Current, unbound journals have been moved to the Barker Engineering Library (10-500).
- All CDs and DVDs have been moved to the Barker Engineering Library.
- Books and theses will be moved to the Barker Enginrering Library on June 29th and 30th and will be fully accessible starting July 2nd. If you need a book from the Aero/Astro collection while the move is in progress call (617.253.5661) or visit the Barker Service Desk and ask that it be retrieved.
