MIT Libraries' catalog
Citations
for all cataloged MIT theses may be found in the Libraries' catalog,
Barton.
Circulating
copies of some theses may be available at MIT divisional libraries.
The permanent copies of theses (as well as microfiche copies) maintained
by the Institute Archives can be used in the Archives reading room
in 14N-118. Theses used in the Archives must be ordered at least
24-48 hours in advance because they are stored off site. To request
a thesis, contact the Archives staff at Ask the
Archives!
Many theses, including all theses submitted to the Libraries since 2004, are available electronically in DSpace at MIT.
Drawings
from Department of Architecture theses, 1872-1968, were separated
from the text and are housed at the MIT
Museum.
In
addition, copies of MIT theses can be purchased from the MIT Libraries'
Document Services.
Document Services also offers electronic
delivery of MIT theses as PDF documents.
For
information about the policies and technical specifications that
must be followed to comply with Graduate School regulations and
to ensure long-term preservation of your thesis, see the most recent
