Alumni Registers

Alumni registers are available in the Institute Archives reading room (14N-118). Only the most recent copy is in other MIT Libraries -- Dewey (E53-100), Hayden (14S-100), Science (14S-100), and Barker (10-500). In addition, the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston, Massachusetts, has registers published between 1948 and 1984. Electronic versions of the course catalog and subject descriptions from 1998 to the present are available from the MIT Bulletin Archive. The Tech

The Tech, the student newspaper, is available in the Institute Archives reading room (14N-118) and on microfilm in the Hayden Library (14S-100). The Tech is also available online.

Tech Talk
(1957-date; call number T171.M42K.T4)

MIT Tech Talk, the Institute's official newspaper, ceased publication in September 2009. Published copies are available in the Institute Archives (14N-118) and microfilm copies in the Hayden Library (14S-100). Back issues from 2004 are available online as PDF files.

Technology Review
(1899-date; call number LJ.T257)

Technology Review, the magazine of the MIT Alumni Association, is available in the Institute Archives reading room (14N-118) and in the Hayden Library (14S-100). Technology Review is now available online. All issues since 1899 are available as PDF files on the Technology Review website.

The divisional libraries have circulating copies of some theses and microfiche copies of graduate theses since 1972. In addition, the Barker Library has microfiche copies of most graduate theses since 1945.

Many theses, including all theses submitted to the Libraries since 2004, are available electronically in DSpace at MIT.
