1886: Arthur D. Little and Roger B. Griffin open first office and laboratory at 103 Milk Street, Boston.
They describe their services in a letter dated October 18, 1886.
1893: Roger Griffin is killed in a laboratory accident.
1894: The Chemistry of Paper-making, written with Griffin, is published. Accepted for many years as the authority in its field.
