Book a video conferencing session

Do you need to collaborate with others outside the Institute?

Book your lectures, presentations, special events, or meetings in our video conferencing rooms with capacities ranging from 1 to 70 people or rent AMPS portable video conferencing packages. All technician-operated rooms are also equipped with recording or rich media capture capability.

Capacity from 24 to 70

  • Room:
    $175 per hour
    Add 30 minutes set up and testing to each session
  • Technician:
    Regular hours (8:30am-5:30pm est): $50 per hr – 1 hour minimum
    Off hours (6am-8:30am & 5:30pm-11pm est): $65 per hr – 4 hours minimum
    Late evening (after 11pm est): $90 per hr – 4 hours minimum
    Weekend and holidays: $90 per hr – 4 hours minimum
   

Recording options
Video Conferencing Recording

Rich Media Recording

  • $50 per hr
    Upload to TechTV: $25 per file

  • $95 per hr
    Includes 6 months hosting on AMPS servers
   

Portable Packages

Portable package rentals are technician supported and require an active Ethernet jack in the room. May also require additional equipment from MIT AV for support if existing room does not have built in AV equipment.

  • Full day:
    $500 equipment rental
    $75 set up fee
    Technician labor not included for attended conferences.
  • Half day:
    $350 equipment rental
    $75 set up fee
    Technician labor not included for attended conferences.

Cancellation policy
 24 hours notice for any cancellations. Last minute cancellations will be charged a minimum 4-hours labor. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with our policy.
