Technology-enabled classrooms

AMPS runs and maintains four technology-enabled classrooms in support of MIT distance education initiatives. These rooms have video conferencing and video taping capability, with remote controlled cameras and added technology to enable streaming media captures of your lecture or presentation. Room access & monitoring

  • Room:
    $175 per hour
    Add 30 minutes set up and testing to each session
  • Technician:
    Regular hours (8:30am-5:30pm est): $50 per hr – 1 hour minimum
    Off hours (6am-8:30am & 5:30pm-11pm est): $65 per hr – 4 hours minimum
    Late evening (after 11pm est): $90 per hr – 4 hours minimum
    Weekend and holidays: $90 per hr – 4 hours minimum
   

Recording options:

Rich Media Capture



  • $95 per hour
    Includes 6 month hosting on AMPS servers

Video conferencing recording

  • $50/hr
    One time alias set up fee: $75 per alias
    Upload to TechTV: $25 per file

DVD Recording

  • $25/DVD

Cancellation policy
24 hours notice for any cancellations.
Last minute cancellations will be charged a minimum 4-hours labor.
