1. Where are reserve items kept?
On the shelves behind and to the left of the Circulation desk.

2. How long can I take out a reserve item?
Reserve items primarily go out for 2-hour loans.

3. What kinds of materials are on reserve?
Books, some reprinted articles, some course bibles, and also flight simulation software.

4. How many reserve items can I check out at once?
You may check out up to three reserve items at a time.

5. Do reserve materials go out overnight?
Reserve materials may be checked out overnight two hours before closing. (Monday through Friday -- after 4pm, Saturday and Sunday -- after 3pm)

6. What happens if I return a reserve item late?
Fines will be charged of $3.00/hour for each item overdue.

7. Can reserve items be renewed? How many times can I renew them?
Reserve items can be renewed. They may be renewed up to three times over the phone, and then renewed again in person with the book in hand.

8. Can I put a hold on a reserve item?
Reserve books cannot be held for one particular patron. They must always be on a first come, first serve basis. However, if a book is checked out, you can find out what time the book is due back, and then request that the book not be renewed.

9. Can reserve items be returned at any library circulation desk, like books I check out for four weeks?
No, reserve books must be returned to the original location from where it was checked out.

10. How do I check to see what materials are on reserve?
Check the black binder kept by the reserve shelves. Materials on reserve are listed there by the course number.
